Bar Stools. Wednesday , November 29th , 2017 - 12:35:33 PM
There are many options to choose from. Generally, bar-stools intended for use outside are manufactured in wood or metal with seats that are either upholstered in vinyl, polyurethane or created from solid materials. You can find stools in an array of different woods such as Cherry, Oak, Maple, and Pine, which can be stained or painted to meet your preference. Make sure they are treated with an additional clear coat to protect it from the elements.
Choose The Right Stool. Before you do invest in these, do take the time to ensure that the stools will work in your kitchen. There are a variety of kitchen counter heights so your first step is to measure the amount of space under the kitchen countertop where you wish to position these to the floor. You do not want the height of the stool`s seat to come within at least six inches of the top of the counter if possible. If so, it will be difficult for people to sit there comfortably. If this is not possible because the counter top is lower, then ensure there is enough room for the stools to be comfortably pulled away from the counter.
Plastic Stools. Molded plastic stools are affordable and weatherproof, but are less durable than other options and are often unattractive. If you live in a very hot region, the stools may not last more than one or two seasons because heat and light quickly degrade plastic. Plastic stools should also be stored in winter to prevent damage from extreme cold.
